Brasov and Prahova Valey

Fantastic tourist city, main destination for ski lovers, Brasov is the hart of Prahova Valey, an extended tourist region.

With a population of 320,000 people, Brasov is the economical leader in the region, located nearby Poiana Brasov, Romania’s most famous skiing resort which is referred in ski directories all over the world, often compared to other major resorts like Chamonix, Zakopane or Cortina D’Ampezzo in terms of natural setting.

The snow layer lasts for about 120 days a year. It features great hotels and restaurants, very modern winter sports facilities, 9 ski slopes.
Few kilometers away there is Sinaia, former royal residence and fantastic tourist resort. Another big attraction is Bran Castle, worldwide known as Dracula’s home.

Being close to Bucharest, Brasov has a continuous flux of tourists all year round.

Brasov is not just a tourist city but a powerful economic center in the very hart of the country.

Worth to mention the key factors for further price appreciation:
 A highway connecting Budapest to Bucharest is in construction process to be ready by 2013. The highway will pass through Brasov
